Bruce W. Jentleson is a professor of public policy and political science and a former director of Duke's Terry Sanford Institute of Public Policy. He has published numerous articles and seven books, including a leading university text on American foreign policy. Jentleson has lectured internationally and has appeared on such shows as "Nightline" and "Crossfire." He served as a senior foreign policy advisor to Vice President Al Gore and the Gore-Lieberman presidential campaign in 1999-2000. In 1993-94, he was on the State Department policy planning staff and served on the U.S. delegation to the Middle East Multilateral Arms Control and Regional Security Talks.

Bronwyn Lewis T'08 is a political science and Spanish double major from Lutherville, Md. She is a member of the Honor Council and the Academic Integrity Council, and in 2006, she helped create a house course called "Ethics through Time and Context." Bronwyn has studied abroad in Madrid and has served on the Duke Summer Reading Book Selection Committee. She is active with student orientation and now serves as co-chair of the First-Year Advisory Counselors.

Jimmy Soni T'07 of Westmont, Ill., has a self-designed major in ethics. He was chair of the Honor Council and is now vice president for academic affairs of Duke Student Government. Jimmy has tutored at-risk youth in Durham middle schools, served low-income communities in Tanzania, and written columns for the Chronicle. He was recently awarded a prestigious Mitchell Scholarship for a year of graduate study in Ireland.
